After studying at Cleveland College of Art and Design and Cumbria College of art and design, qualifying in textile design back in 1988 I ventured out into the big wide world doing a variety of jobs

 In 2009 i became a Pub Landlady around Yorkshire and this eventually brought me to where my heart belongs - Cornwall!!

 Holidaying in the county as a child made my love grow for this beautiful part of the country and every time I left, I left a piece of me here so in the end it was inevitable that my journey through life would bring me back and fill in the jigsaw of my life.

 Surrounded by such beauty it was only natural that my artistic side would come to the fore and once again after years of neglect, out came my paints and brushes, hardly surprising in such a gorgeous place !

 I draw my inspiration (no pun intended) from everywhere I look, even the light is different here, you don't have to look far as there is beauty each way you turn, this is what i have tried to capture in my paintings.

 Each painting contains a little piece of my soul ......
